Brennan & Partners’ CEO speaks at All Souls College, The University of Oxford at the invitation of the OUSSG

Brennan & Partners Founder and CEO Alexander Brennan was pleased to speak at All Souls College, The University of Oxford at the invitation of OUSSG Oxford University Strategic Studies Group on the subject “Strategic advisory in a geopolitically challenging world.”

The OUSSG is the oldest student society focusing on international affairs at the University of Oxford and is dedicated to hosting speakers on issues of defence, security and foreign policy.

Previous speakers from the world of business, security, defence, diplomacy and intelligence include the former Chairman of Goldman Sachs, Peter Sutherland, former UK National Security Advisors, Lord Sedwill and Sir Mark Lyall-Grant, former US National Security Advisor HR McMaster, the former Chiefs of MI6, Sir John Scarlett and Sir Richard Dearlove, the former Chief of the Defence Staff Field Marshal Lord Guthrie, former First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope and the former Foreign and Defence Secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind.

In the session Alexander considered the geopolitical challenges facing the world in 2024 and beyond, how they in practical terms impact business and how strategic advisors can help clients both guard against these geopolitical risks but also identify opportunities arising from them.
